Everland
Everland is a theme park located in Pogok-eup, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea. It opened on April 17, 1976, and became the first theme park in Korea. As of 2023, it covers 99 hectares of land and has about 8 million annual visitors.
History of Everland
Starting with the establishment of the Yongin Forest Complex plan in 1972, Everland opened a pig farm in 1973, changed the name of the Yongin Forest Complex to Yongin Natural Farm in 1974, and opened a theme park under the name of Yongin Natural Farm on April 17, 1976.

Everland is largely composed of zoos, amusement facilities, parades, performances, and events.
Zoo
There are about 3,000 kinds of animals on display in Everland. In particular, you can watch four pandas from China: Ming Ming, Zhang Suni, Daehan, and Manse at Panda World. In addition, you can see various animals such as a lion, a tiger, an elephant, a giraffe, and more.
Amusement Facilities
There are many different kinds of amusement facilities in Everland. In particular, T-Express, Thunder Falls, Lapido, Amazon Express, and T-Express Skylift are some of the representative thrill attractions in Korea. In addition, there are various rides for children and families to enjoy.
Parades and Performances
There are various parades and performances in Everland. In particular, the Lost Valley Parade is Everland's representative parade, where animals from the Lost Valley display a lively parade. In addition, there are various parades, such as a carnival parade and a Caribbean Bay parade.
Events
Everland holds various events throughout the year. Especially, there is a tulip festival in spring, a water parade in summer, fireworks in fall, and a Christmas festival in winter.
Everland's Achievements
As the first theme park in Korea, Everland has greatly contributed to the development of the Korean theme park industry. In addition, it has become a representative tourist attraction in Korea, attracting more than 8 million visitors a year.
The Future of Everland
Everland is providing new entertainment through continuous facility expansion and investment. In particular, it plans to open a K-POP concert hall in 2024. With a capacity of 2,000 people, the K-POP concert hall is expected to become a new attraction for K-POP fans at home and abroad.
